I've still been unable to come up with a name for this fanfic. Any suggestions would be fantastic. Thanks to azarethsakura for reminding me to update!

Chapter 3
“Morning Star!” Beastboy called cheerfully as he entered the room. “Hope you like chocolate croissants! I stopped off at the bakery on the way here and bought you some.”
Starfire smiled warmly and attempted to sit up but hissed and winced as her stitches pulled. It had been five long days since she had been in hospital and since the operation to put a stop to her internal bleeding. It had been a complete success and she was recovering well but her wounds were still quite tender.
“Here, let me help you.” Beastboy offered, setting the croissants on the bedside table and moving to prop up his friend’s pillows before helping to lift her into a sitting position.
She smiled again, slightly embarrassed about having to be helped with the simplest of tasks.
“Thank you most kindly, Beastboy. However, you did not have to go to the trouble of bringing me breakfast.”
Beastboy shrugged. “I just thought it would be better than whatever it is they serve you here in the hospital.” He leant over and whispered in her ear. “Don’t think the nurses are too keen on me smuggling food in here though.”
She giggled and thanked him again, tearing open the paper bag that held her morning treats.
“Did the others not come with you this morning?”
Jumping onto the end of the bed, Beastboy let his legs dangle and swung them in and out like a small child. “There was a robbery last night so everyone’s pretty beat. I’m sure they’ll come by this afternoon though.”
Starfire nodded in understanding and grinned as the sweet smell of pastry and chocolate wafted out of the bag and up her nose. On Tamaran, there was no such thing as chocolate, or anything similar. In fact, most of Tamaran’s cuisine was savory. But when Robin first introduced her to Earth’s most popular sweet she could not believe that she had ever lived without it. Out of the corner of her eye she could see Beastboy trying his hardest not to appear jealous. She rolled her eyes playfully, dug out a second croissant and handed it to him with a chuckle.
He grinned. “Starfire, you’re the best!”
The two fell into silence apart from the satisfactory smacking of lips as they devoured their meal.
“Is Nightwing well?” Starfire asked suddenly.
Beastboy raised an eyebrow as he licked the remaining melted chocolate off of his fingers.
“Yeah.” He replied. “Why’d you ask?”
She sighed. “It is just, I have been in this medical facility-”
“Hospital.” Beastboy corrected.
“Yes, I have been in this…hospital for almost one week and Nightwing…he has not come to see me very often.” She paused and her brow furrowed. “Do you think he is…angry with me?”
Beastboy laughed. “Dude, Nightwing couldn’t be angry with you if he tried! I mean…apart from that time when he thought Slade was back but he was liked, drugged or something.” He paused, seemingly in thought, before shaking his head.
“Anyway, no I don’t think he’s angry with you. I think he’s just…trying to come to terms with you being in hospital and stuff. I mean, none of us has ever been seriously hurt before and, y’know…it’s you!” He touched her arm affectionately. “He loves you, Star! And I don’t think I’ve ever seen him so scared than when you took that hit from Cinderblock.”
“I miss him.” Star admitted, wiping away the single tear that lingered on her cheek. “I never believed I could feel so strongly about someone. …But I do.”
Beastboy smiled at her. “I’ll talk to him, Star. I’ll make sure he comes to see you later on today.”
“Oh thank you Beastboy!” She exclaimed. “You are such a wonderful friend.”
He felt a slight blush rise to his cheeks. “No problem, Star.”
“You have to tell her!” Raven urged, staring disapprovingly at the Boy Wonder. “I can’t believe that Dr. Falten has even agreed to keep quiet for this long.”
“You don’t understand.” Nightwing retorted, running a hand over his unshaven face. “If I tell her…it will break her apart. She’s not strong enough right now to handle that kind of emotional pain.”
“And you think that by not telling her, you’re saving her from that pain?” Raven asked.
“Yes! I mean…no, but…”
“Nightwing.” Cyborg interrupted. “She gonna find out sooner or later, whether you like it or not. It’s in her medical records. Now, the longer you keep this from her the more she’ll resent you when she finds out on her own.”
“Yeah, dude. And you can’t expect us to keep lying for you.” Beastboy explained. “She was so upset this morning because you hadn’t come to see her. She thought you were angry with her, for God’s sake! You can’t just leave her guessing.”
“Ok, and what am I supposed to tell her?!” Nightwing yelled, throwing his hands up.
Raven sighed and touched his shoulder comfortingly. “Tell her the truth, Dick."
----------------------------------------
Knocking the door lightly, he poked his head round the corner. He couldn’t help but laugh when Starfire gasped and called for him.
“Richard! You have come to see me at last!” She exclaimed, grinning madly as she beckoned for him to come closer. He did just so and swooped down to kiss her soundly on the lips.
“These are for you.” He explained, producing a bouquet of crisp, white lilies from behind his back and handing them to her. “I know they’re your favourite kind of Earth flower.”
“Thank you.” She replied, breathing in their scent. “They are beautiful.” Setting them aside she took his hands and gently pulled him onto the bed so that he sat comfortably beside her.
“How are you feeling?” He asked, gingerly running his fingertips over a yellowing bruise on her arm.
She shrugged. “I am feeling as well as can be expected. I am still quite nauseous but the nurses have assured me that it is quite a common side-effect of the anesthetic and the pain-relief drugs that I am taking.”
Nightwing nodded, half listening as he continued to stroke her arm absentmindedly.
“I have been dreadfully bored, being cooped up in this bed for such a long time. However, Dr. Falten has said she sees no reason why I can not get about in a wheelchair now that my wounds are healing nicely.”
Starfire noticed with some confusion that Nightwing’s body stiffened dramatically when a knock came at the door. It was Dr. Falten.
“Good evening, Dr. Falten. Nightwing and I were just talking about you.” She greeted with a smile. “Is there something with which I can help you?”
Dr. Falten opened her mouth but remained silent and Starfire realised that she was looking to the left of her, at Nightwing. Nightwing’s gaze was fixed firmly on the bedcovers and as he took Starfire’s hand gently his mouth opened in a similar way to that of the doctor.
“Starfire…” He paused to take a much need breath before bringing his eyes up to meet hers. “Dr. Falten and I have something that we think you should know.” He nodded at the doctor and she took a seat at the end of the bed before clearing her throat.
“Starfire, when you’re friends brought you into me five days ago you had been severely beaten. You’re injuries were numerous and it was my job, and the job of my team to make sure that we thoroughly investigated the extent of those injuries.” She stopped to look at Nightwing, who was chewing the inside of his lip nervously. Starfire remained completely oblivious to the bomb that was about to be dropped upon her and nodded for her to go on.
“After an abdominal scan we found that you were bleeding into your abdomen but…that wasn’t all we found.”
Starfire starred at her with expectant eyes whilst Robin held his breath.
“We discovered that you were roughly 6 weeks pregnant.”
Nightwing cringed as he watched Starfire’s jaw drop and the look of shock that washed over her face. But that wasn’t what upset him. He had noticed the brief glimmer of happiness that sparkled in her eyes.
“I…I am pregnant?” She repeated breathlessly, a small smile tugging at her lips. Nightwing only gripped her hand tighter.
“Starfire,” Dr. Falten continued, touching the young woman’s hand. “When you were hit by Cinderblock the embryonic sack was damaged.”
The smile faded from Starfire’s face instantly. “Damaged? What…what do you mean?” She stuttered, turning to Nightwing who could only hold her closer, as if trying to shield and protect her as much as possible from the painful truth. He felt tears springing to his eyes as he recalled the night that Falten had told him the same story.
“We did all we could.” Falten told her truthfully. “But the sack was leaking vital fluids and in the end…there was nothing that could be done. The embryo…was already dead.” She hung her head. “I am so very sorry.”
Starfire shook her head slowly and Nightwing felt her begin to shudder as tears fell from her eyes. “No.” She whispered painfully. “No…my baby…” She was convulsing violently, breathing heavily and fast. “No…no…”
Nightwing bit his lip and tried to calm her down. He placed his hands on her face and turned her towards him; her eyes were wide and frantic. “Starfire, look at me…”
“No!” She screamed, fighting against him as sobs racked through her body, trying to look anywhere but him. “Please!” She cried, pushing against his chest and kicking her legs despite the pain she felt as her stitches pulled. “Leave me be.”
“Starfire, look at me!” He pleaded desperately, ripping the mask from his face. No longer was he able to stop the tears falling from his own eyes. She looked up at him slowly, still choking on her sobs. His heart broke at the sight of her. Tears flowed relentlessly down her face and her eyes were filled with emotional agony.
“It’s ok.” He told her as he wrapped his arms tightly around her. “It’s going to be ok.”
She sobbed louder against his chest, digging her nails painfully into his back but he didn’t care. It was nothing compared to the gut-wrenching agony he felt at that moment.
“Our baby…” Starfire chocked, clinging tightly to her lover’s body. “Our baby is gone.”
“I know.” He croaked, shutting his eyes tight in an attempt to stop the tears and burying his face in her hair. “I know.”
----------------------------------------
“Doc, I really appreciate you coming down to tell her.” Nightwing thanked, sniffing back the remainder of his tears and closing the door of Starfire’s room behind him. “There’s no way I would have found the right words to explain what happened.”
The nurse had brought round a high dose sedative and so Star was now sleeping peacefully. Well at least Nightwing hoped she was peaceful.
Dr. Falten smiled weakly. “You’re welcome. It’s not the best part of my job but it has to be done.” She reached into her pocket and pulled out a fresh tissue, which she handed to the young man before her. He smiled appreciatively.
“I have to warn you however,” She continued. “That Starfire may not be herself for quite a while. She’s going to be looking for someone to blame for the loss of her child and, as strange and unfair as it may seem…she may blame you.”
Nightwing’s head snapped up. “Me?” He repeated. “But…it wasn’t my fault, I-”
“I never said it was your fault.” Falten assured, holding her hands up in defense. “Neither of you knew about the pregnancy and so there was nothing that anyone could have done to prevent this unfortunate accident. However, as I was just saying, her thoughts may become irrational. She may become angered. If this happens, the best thing that you, or anyone else involved can do is to walk away.” Delving into her pocket again she pulled out a small, plastic container. “If she doesn’t calm down it would be wise to use these. They are the new brand of sedatives I told you my team was working on. They should put her to sleep for maybe 3 to 4 hours.”
Nightwing reached out and took the small container hesitantly. He eyed it warily. “I don’t really like the idea of that but…if you think it’s for the best…”
Falten gave a curt nod. “I do. Now, Starfire’s wounds are healing well so she should be allowed home by the end of the week. Following that, she’ll need to come back in a month’s time for a check up. In the mean time I’ll arrange some bereavement counseling for the both of you.”
Nightwing opened his mouth to object but Falten cut in.
“Nightwing, losing a child is difficult for both parents. I know you are trying to put on a brave face for Starfire but on the inside I can tell you are hurting. Counseling will be a good way for you to express your grief.”
With a sigh, Nightwing agreed. “Ok, I’ll do it.”
Falten smiled. “Good.” She turned to leave. “I shall see you soon, I expect. Take care.”

Chapter 2
When Doctor Falten returned to the waiting room, all 4 Titans were on their feet in an instant, eager to know of their friend’s condition.
Nightwing stepped forward. “How is she?” He questioned, wondering how on earth his voice managed to sound so calm.
Doctor Falten looked at them each in turn but slowly brought her gaze back towards to Boy Wonder. “Nightwing, I would like to speak with you privately concerning the condition of Miss Starfire.”
The rest of the group were about to protest but Falten continued, holding up her hand. “I understand that you are a team and that you are concerned for your friend’s well-being but I do have my reasons. Under normal circumstances I would speak with a relative but as that is not possible it would be for the best if I spoke to the one closest to my patient.”
The team looked at each other and then at Nightwing. He nodded at their silent decision.
“Ok.” He rasped out, his throat dry.
Doctor Falten smiled appreciatively. “Follow me.”
Nightwing gave one last look at his team before following Falten down a series of white corridors passing numerous doctors and nurses on the way. He couldn’t help but feel angered by the fact that while his Starfire lie, critically injured, the rest of the world seemed to carry on as usual.
“Will you take me to see her?” He asked, raising his voice in an attempt to be heard above the commotion going on around him.
Doctor Falten came to halt and turned towards him. “Is that what you want?”
He nodded confidently and once again began to follow closely behind her fast-moving footsteps. She took a right into an empty corridor and stopped at a door on the left. Typing in some sort of security code on a keypad she turned around to face Nightwing.
“I’m not going to lie to you.” She spoke in a quiet voice. “Starfire is in a bad way.”
With that said, she pushed open the door for them both to enter. What he saw tore his heart apart.
Starfire lay unmoving on a hospital bed. Her face was swollen and bruised in such a way that he could hardly recognise her. Bandages covered most of her upper-body while the lower half was hidden from view under a mass of blankets.
Nightwing gasped as an agonizing moan was heard followed by a sort of desperate cry. One of the nurses in the room was quick to act and injected a small amount of liquid into Starfire’s arm. Her eyelids flickered for a brief moment before closing once more.
“She’s…she’s awake?” He asked uncertainly. He watched helplessly as the team of nurses continued to tend to Starfire’s injuries.
The doctor was silent for a moment as if carefully choosing her words. “She’s been drifting in and out of consciousness ever since you brought her in. We’ve tried sedating her but its effects lasted only 10-15 minutes tops. We’ve got a specialist team working on a concoction of sedatives to see if we can get her to stay asleep longer. Starfire may look like she has the body of a human on the outside but on the inside…things get far more complicated. She has all the vital organs that we have but there are other organs inside of her that even our top doctors can’t identify!”
Nightwing ran a hand through his hair and took a deep breath. Seeing Starfire like this was heartbreaking but he had to stay strong. He was the leader of the Titans and he had to keep his emotions in check.
‘Stay focused.’ He ordered himself.
“She took the hit from Cinderblock badly.” He explained to Dr. Falten, trying his hardest to remain calm. “Even with her alien strength I know that blow was enough to do some serious damage. Have your tests brought anything up?”
Falten nodded. “As you can see, the upper half of Starfire’s body took the worst of it. I can only assume that is because she flies, head on, into battle. Luckily we have found no evidence of a spinal injury however that does not mean she is out of the woods. She has several broken ribs which had initially caused her left lung to collapse, and in the last half hour we’ve found traces of internal bleeding into the abdomen.”
Nightwing gulped nervously. “And so…what do you propose to do?”
Dr. Falten sighed. “We have no option but to perform surgery to put a stop to the bleeding. There isn’t much we can do elsewhere. We have already bandaged her ribs as best we can and needle decompression was used to inflate her collapsed lung. The rest is up to Starfire and her body’s natural ability to heal itself.”
Nightwing nodded in understanding. Never in his life had he felt so powerless to help.
“Nightwing.” Falten called. Nightwing noticed that she seemed hesitant to continue and prayed that the situation wouldn’t get any worse.
“There…there was another reason why I wanted to speak privately with you.”
The first thing the group noticed when Nightwing returned was that his face had paled dramatically and that he seemed a little unstable on his feet. Raven rushed to his side just in time to catch his as he stumbled and helped him to a chair.
‘Something is terribly wrong.’ She thought to herself, her eyebrows drawing together.
“Nightwing, what happened?” Beastboy asked, taking a seat next to his team leader. “Is Star gonna be ok?”
Somehow, Nightwing managed to form a very small, very wobbly smile. “Star’s going to be just fine.” He told them, briefly taking note that he seemed only able to speak at the level of a whisper. He cleared his throat and began to talk more clearly. “Dr. Falten and her team are treating her for broken ribs, a punctured lung and a couple of minor fractures. They also suspect some internal bleeding so they’re hoping to perform surgery within the next hour.”
Cyborg frowned. “Man, you don’t seem too relieved for someone who just told us that his girlfriend’s gonna be just fine. Are you sure everything’s ok?”
Nightwing squeezed his eyes shut and held his head in his hands as he felt tears threatening to form.
“Dick.” Raven called, resting a hand on his shoulder. She could feel the emotional pain washing off of him in waves. “You don’t have to tell us. It’s ok.”
He breathed deeply. “No.” He replied, raising his head. “You guys need to know.”
The rest of the team looked at each other briefly with confusion in their eyes and waited for their leader to continue.
“You all know that Star and I have been dating for quite a while now.” They nodded and he took another shaky breath. “Well, a couple of months ago we, uh…we decided that…we decided to sleep together…for the first time.” His voice broke slightly and colour started to return to his face in the form of a blush.
Their kiss goodnight, that had started off as purely innocent, quickly grew in passion. Gentle brushing of lips became hungry caresses. Starfire couldn’t help herself. Today she thought she had lost the only man she’d ever loved. She had seen him, dead and bleeding, on the floor. It had been unbearable. And so when she and the other Titans had discovered it all to be one big set up, words couldn’t describe how relieved she had been. Nightwing wasn’t dead at all. He had just been knocked out and locked up while the criminal responsible carried out his crimes.
But even with the knowledge that Nightwing was alive and safe, Starfire still felt uneasy. She needed him near her. She wanted his touch.
Nightwing sensed this need in her and deepened his kiss, sending shivers down Starfire’s spine. He knew that tonight she needed the reassurance that he was there for her.
His teammates looked at him with wide eyes.
Beastboy cleared his throat. “Dude…er…I’m not really sure why you’re telling us this but-”
“Starfire became pregnant.” Nightwing interrupted, gaining more wide-eyed stares from his friends. He ran a hand through his hair. “I didn’t know about it…I…I don’t even think she knew about it!” He was beginning to get hysterical, his voice getting louder as he continued. “If I had know I would never have allowed her to fight! But I didn’t know and now…”
The team was suddenly beginning to understand what had happened and as Nightwing began to choke on his words Cyborg leant forward and pulled the distressed young man into his arms.
“It’s too late!” He sobbed, beating his fists against Cyborg’s metal chest. “It’s too late and it’s all my fault!”
Beastboy stood, his mouth agape and as Raven wiped the single tear from her eye she placed a hand atop of Nightwing’s head, muttered a few words, and within seconds his body became limp in Cyborg’s arms.
“A sleep spell.” She explained to her two other teammates.
Cyborg lifted him over his shoulder and shook his head sadly. He turned to a nurse who had made her way over after hearing the commotion.
“Is there a room we can put him in? He’s gonna need some time to rest.”
She nodded silently in understanding and led them all into the busy corridors.

Since then I've been wracking my brains to write a decent begining and eventually came up with this. I hope you like it. :) It's untitled at the moment cos I can't think of a good name.
It's a StarxRob story with, I think, quite an original plot line although that won't be evident in this first chapter.
Anyway, here it is. :)

Chapter 1
He couldn’t believe it had turned out like this. It was supposed to have been a romantic walk through Jump City Park. Just the two of them. It was rare that they ever got time to themselves these days. The number of super villains had, thankfully, depleted since Slade’s disappearance 2 years before, but the JCPD had asked the Titans if they could lend their services to help keep the small-time criminals at bay. Usually as soon as the crooks came face-to-face with the infamous Titans they dropped everything and willing turned themselves in without so much as a warning. It was pretty easy work but it kept them busy. They often found themselves dealing with several crimes a day.
It was for that reason that Nightwing had wanted to treat Starfire to a break; even if it was only for a couple of hours. He still remembered the look on her face when he told her they were going out. That thousand-watt smile that made her eyes shine and made his legs weak. It never even entered his mind that something as horrendous as this could have happened.
“It is nice to get away from the tower; from the crime-fighting.” She remarked, leaning her head against her boyfriend’s shoulder as they aimlessly wandered through the park. “It is such a shame we can’t not do things as a couple more often, wouldn’t you agree Richard?”
Richard, otherwise known as Nightwing leader of the Titans, smiled and tightened his grip about Starfire’s waist. “Kori, you know there’s nothing I’d rather do than spend every waking moment with you but we have responsibilities and a duty to protect this city. You remember what we agreed after Tokyo?”
“We agreed not to let our relationship affect our job as heroes.” Starfire replied with a slight groan, earning a chuckle from Nightwing.
He adored her little moods. He had witnessed her wrath first hand when they had been stranded on that odd alien planet. And although he had wanted nothing more than to be back on her good side, he couldn’t help but notice how cute she looked when she pouted. Why did everything have to go so wrong?
“Let’s not talk about crime-fighting, ok?” Nightwing suggested. “I wanted today to be just about us.”
They stopped beneath a blossoming tree, the afternoon sun shinning through the branches. Starfire wound her arm around his neck and raised an eyebrow.
“Just about us, hmm?”
He grinned and brushed his lips against hers. “Absolutely. I’m focused 100% on you. No criminals,” He kissed her again. “No paperwork,” And again. “And definitely no-”
A piercing scream tore two of them apart, drawing their attention to the city. The ground beneath them shook almost like an earthquake. But the vibrations weren’t consistent. They came one after the other like…like…
“Footsteps?”
Starfire lifted off the ground, her eyes scanning for the source of both the scream and whatever was causing the vibrations.
“What could be so big that it causes the ground to shake?” She asked, raising her voice to be heard over the panicking civilians.
As soon as the question left her lips she gasped. A building not too far from them crumbled to the ground revealing a creature made from solid concrete and at least as tall as a two story house.
Nightwing’s eyes narrowed. “Cinderblock.” He growled, whipping out his communicator. “Titans! We need backup!”
Turing to Starfire, who was eagerly awaiting instruction, he gave a swift nod. “Let’s go!”
Maybe it wasn’t his fault be he still felt overwhelmingly guilty. Had he gotten soft? Had be gotten so used to just frightening his opponents into submission that he’d forgotten how to fight the real villains? If he’s only be faster, stronger, more agile, maybe he could have…
But it was pointless dwelling on the ‘what if’s…’. It wouldn’t change anything. The damage was already done.
Extending his bow staff, Nightwing leapt at the stone monster and swung for him with all his strength, knocking him back a few feet.
“We need to protect the civilians!” He instructed Starfire who nodded and flew towards the crowds, commanding them all the get as far away as possible while he continued to battle with the enemy. Diving to the side he just escaped the fist of Cinderblock as he slammed it into the ground. He roared in frustration and leapt after the Titan Wonder, making a grab for him but missing as he back flipped out of reach.
Starfire could see the fight out of the corner of her eye as she lifted 2 women to safety. They called out thanked her sincerely as she flew back to aid her teammate. Firing 2 starbolts that knocked Cinderblock off his feet she came to land beside Nightwing.
“Are you alright?” She questioned, concern evident in her voice.
He flashed a smile, his gaze briefly turning towards her. “Never better. Just wish the others would hurry u-aaaaghhh!”
“Nightwing!” Starfire yelled as he was thrown backwards by a tire that had been hurled at him by Cinderblock. But just as she turned to help him a desperate cry rang in her ears. It caught Cinderblock’s attention too and the two of them looked towards the pile of rubble that had one been a building. To Starfire’s horror a young girl, no older than 6 or 7, was tangled in amongst the wreckage. No doubt she was injured. The girl screamed franticly as Cinderblock thundered towards her, his arms outstretched. Starfire didn’t even stop to think. She flew towards the helpless child as fast as a speeding bullet.
“Shit" Nightwing cursed when he saw what she was doing. "Starfire, wait!” Bur she was too far away to hear.
Her eyes glowed a dangerous green, righteous fury building up within her. If that child were hurt she’d never forgive herself. Her attention focused fully on rescuing the girl, Starfire never saw Cinderblock’s smug grin as she drew closer to him.
“Starfire, stop!” Nightwing yelled. But it was too late. Cinderblock lashed out with his arm, swatting Starfire from the sky like a bug.
“No! STARFIRE!”
She hit the ground with tremendous force and after that, time seemed to move at triple the speed. The 3 remaining Titans arrived along with the paramedics and the fallen alien was rushed into hospital.
And that’s where they were now; Jump City Hospital waiting room. He faintly remembered a doctor, Falten he thought her name was, telling them that everything would be ok and that she was going to do everything medically possible to help their friend. He wasn’t sure how many hours ago that was. He scratched the bandage that was wrapped around his upper body. He’d been treated for a couple of cracked ribs, nothing serious. Raven, Cyborg and Beastboy had left only moments ago to fetch something to eat. It hadn’t really registered in his brain when they’d told him it was already 7:30pm. He could only think of one thing and one thing only.
‘Please let her be ok.”

Summary: An angry Tamaranean is never a good thing. And when you're the cause of that anger, you better watch out. But Robin seems to know the way to calm a certain redheaded Tamaranean down. Oneshot.
Please review!
----------------------------------------
With a growl, Starfire thrust her hand forward and released a large bolt of green energy from her hand, disintegrating any last objects that had previously sat on her, now shattered, desk. And still her fury had not yet completely gone.
She wandered aimlessly in circles about her room, gripping her head tightly in both hands and muttering incomprehensible words under her breath.
‘Why does he continue to be so stubborn?’ She questioned herself.
She had known from very early on that pride was something that earth males valued very highly. But when it came down to him, to Robin, she just couldn’t understand why he seemed to value it higher than his friends. They were a team and they were supposed to work together whether it be a problem in battle or something more personal. And yet Robin always seemed so reluctant to accept help. Sometimes even blatantly refusing it like he had done today.
“But Robin, I care for-”
“Well I don’t care! I don’t need your help, Starfire. Now get out!”
Starfire stopped her pacing, sighed, and ran a hand down her face. It was only then that she noticed the tears that had slowly been sliding down her flushed cheeks. She wiped them away with a rough hand and allowed herself to fall onto her bed.
A knock sounded at her door but she chose to ignore it. She already knew who it was. There was no doubt about it. However, the knocking continued followed by a plea for her to open her door.
Taking a deep breath to calm herself, Starfire rose from her bed. Pressing a button, the door flew open with a gentle hissing sound. And there he was. Robin, the Boy Wonder.
“Star-” He began, but did not continue. He didn’t know how.
Starfire sniggered, something she rarely, if ever, did. “Do not attempt to apologise to me, Robin.” She snapped, turning on her heel and retreating back into her room.
Robin held out a hand to stop the door from closing on him and followed the footsteps of his alien friend.
“Please, Star! I’m sorry! I didn’t mean…I was just…and you-”
“I was in your way, correct?” She interrupted.
“No! You were just-”
She cut him short again. “Irritating? Too inquisitive?”
“For God’s sake, Star!” Robin yelled, throwing his hands up in frustration. “Can you let me finish my god-damn sentence?”
Her eyes blazed with anger. “Why should I let you finish your sentence,” She questioned, poking his chest sharply. “When you would not let me finish mine?”
Robin pushed her hand away from him. “I didn’t ask you to interfere in my personal life, Starfire!”
Her eyes lost their burning glow for a second. “So I was just an interference?” She whispered, hurt evident in her tone.
Robin sighed. “No, you aren’t an interference, Starfire. But you were interfering.” He peered at her through his masked eyes, hoping to find some sign of understanding. “There are some aspects of my life that I don’t like to share. Not even with my closest of friends. You…you wouldn’t understand why I-”
“So now I would not understand!” Starfire exclaimed, all her previous fury returning in an instant. “Do you think of me as just some silly little girl?”
“No, Star. I-”
“Or perhaps you feel that your human emotions are far too complex for an alien like myself to comprehend!”
Robin tried desperately to clam her. “Starfire. I didn’t say-”
“Oh, I know what it is.” She growled, tears leaking out from the corners of her darkened eyes. “How could I have been so naive as to not see it?” She sobbed, resuming her pacing. “I am a Troq on this planet. I shall never fit in! I-”
Robin leapt forward and grabbed hold of Starfire’s wrist. With a quick yank he pulled her to his chest and pressed his lips firmly to hers. She squeaked in protest and tried to struggle free but Robin held her firmly in his grasp.
His kiss was demanding, needy. His lips moved fiercely over her own as his tongue searched for a way into her mouth.
Starfire was still not entirely aware of what was going on. Her mind was still clouded from the initial shock of Robin’s actions. Without realizing it, her lips had parted allowing Robin’s tongue to come in contact with her own, releasing a whole new wave of sensations through her body.
Robin grinned as he felt Starfire wrap her arms around his neck and settle into his kiss. He trailed his hands up to her waist and tentatively let one slip under her shirt. He was rewarded with a gasp from Starfire and she began to respond more passionately.
For about 10 minutes the kiss continued to be a fight for dominance with a fierceness that could only suggest that both had been waiting for this to happen for quite a while. Robin had backed Starfire into a wall allowing her no room to take control. But soon the kiss slowed to a gentle brush of lips while hands gently caressed the other’s skin, hoping to sooth and calm what was left of the anger that they had both expressed so openly before.
Starfire pulled back reluctantly, her breath ragged. She bit back a moan as Robin’s lips continued to travel down the length of her neck and he nipped at her collarbone.
“Robin.” She whispered, for her voice seemed to hold no power.
She lifted his head back up so that they were eye to eye.
“I’m sorry.” She murmured.
He shook his head. “No, I’m sorry. I should have never have shouted at you in the first place.” He ran the back of his hand down her cheek and gave her a quick peck on the lips. “And I don’t ever what you to feel that you don’t belong.”
Taking her hand, he placed it over the left side of his chest and allowed her head to rest of his shoulder. “You belong right here.” He breathed in her ear, grinning when she shivered slightly. “Don’t you ever forget that.”
“I will not forget, Robin.” She told him. “I love you.”
He kissed the crown her head, breathing in her scent. “And I love you too.”

Chapter 2
The journey home from the crime scene was quite and somber. I looked to my grieving comrades.

You've read my story, now review it! :D
Ok, here's my latest oneshot.
Pairings: Rob/star
Rating: PG (UK) K (USA)
Genre: Romance/Tragedy
Disclaimer: I do not own the Teen Titans. Nor do I own the song "Wasn't it Good". The song was original sung by Tina Arena.
Wasn't It Good
It was as if time as stopped. I was by his side even before he hit the ground; steadying him and lowering him gently to cradle his head in my lap. I didn’t scream or shout. I simply sat by him, in stunned silence.
Isn't that funny, me lost for words.
Not that it really matters, 'cause I know you know
And you would have told me yourself if you could.”
”Remember the first time, we met each other;
You were in your world and I was in mine.
Breaking down the barriers, we broke all the rules
But wasn't it good, wasn't it fine.
While I took for granted, you took your time.
It's over now that's understood, but wasn't it good.”
”So long together, two would be lovers,
Caring for flowers that just wouldn't grow.
And in all of our tomorrows, we'll have yesterday
And wasn't it good, wasn't it fine
While I took for granted, you took your time
Longing for love, oh how we tried
It's over now that's understood…”
”But wasn't it good”

For a long time now I've been searching for a good fanfiction that revolves around Starfire and her past (her comic book past). I'm hopefully going to be writing one myself at some point but I have too many fanfictions on the go at the moment so for now I just wanna read someone elses.
Can anyone suggest one to me?

Welcome to my new account. The purpose for creating it was to show people some of my fanfictions. Although It will also be used for talking about Teen Titans and any news regarding the show and it's upcoming movie. :D
I thought I'd start off by posting a songfic, oneshot. It was written by me, of course. Lol!
Rating: 12 (UK), T (USA), rated for implied sexual situations and kissing.
Disclaimer: I do not own the Titans and I do not own the song "I bruise Easily". It was sung by Natasha Bedingfield.
I Bruise Easily
